ABOUT

CATERINA LODO

I've been living surrounded by dogs since I can remember, growing up in my dad's farm. I spent days and days with the family dogs taking care of them from puppyhood to senior years, I was fascinated by every animal I encountered and when people asked me the big question 'What you want to be when you grow up?' I answered 'An Ethologist', getting that perplexed look that people give you when you use such a complicated word for a 7-years-old.

Sadly I've never become an ethologist, life took a different path and I ended up completing two degrees, one in International Economics and International Marketing (Italy) and one in International Management (Germany). I subsequently moved to London and then Ireland where I worked in Social Media Marketing and in Graphic Design.

But one day a very special dog came into my life and revolutionised it. I adopted Dante in 2014, when he arrived to us, we had some work to do together, this lead me to seek the help of a dog trainer. Working with Dante fascinated me so much, that I decided to enroll in a 18 months course (Canine Behaviour and Training Technician) with AniEd in Dublin. During that time I also worked as dog daycare assistant at The Dog Academy Galway, a dog daycare and dog training center in Galway.

In August 2016 I moved to Martigny, Switzerland and I've decided to finally open a dog training business with the aim to offer my services and my help, to the best of my ability.

Dante, AniEd and The Dog Academy Galway gifted me with an incredible amount of knowledge but I believe that learning never stops, that's why I regularly participate to webinars, workshops and seminar to keep up to date and informed.
